J.S.S.E.P.C. X HKU Science Workshop ‘Cryptography’
When C=1, E=2, I=3, N=4, S=5,
Try to solve the code 5132412.
The answer is S-C-I-E-N-C-E. Easy, isn’t it? Cryptography is the construction and analysation of protocols to prevent third parties from reading private messages. The working principle can be as simple as the example stated above, but it can also be as complex as techniques like time stamping and electronic money used to secure personal and even state privacy. In most cases, cryptography is based on science and mathematics patterns.
Haven’t heard of this discipline before? Come get a closer look at it by joining this workshop co-organised with the University of Hong Kong! The details of the Cryptography Workshop are as follows:
Date: 25 August 2017 (Friday)
Time: 9:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

City Tracing X Detective Game - Lycanthrope
When ambition and obsession mix together with hints of envy in the backdrop of a love triangle, would it end up like the quaint cliched plots in all the extensively played soap operas? Maybe you would be bored by the repeated chains of events as a watcher. Please be assured, though, it would not be the case when you participate in solving the broken puzzles of love and hatred between different characters as a detective. When amateurs from various schools come together and trace from one place to another, would you be able to dig up all the proofs and figure out the truth behind the brutal bloodshed?
